Tempo Tapper - Find Your Tempo! Electronic metronomes and tuners have been in the musicians took kit for years, but often, you hear a piece of music and want to immediately know the tempo of the performance. Tempo Tapper is intended to help professional musicians, teachers, adjudicators and students find the tempo of what they hear without having to scroll through a series of metronome settings. Think of it as a "reverse metronome". For the adjudicator, when the performer begins to play, tap the screen 4 or more times matching the tempo of the music. Check the screen and see the actual tempo that was tapped in. Now you will know the actual tempo without having to work through the metronome, thus distracting you from the rest of the performance. To use, simply start the application and begin tapping. After a minimum of four (4) taps, the screen will accurately display the tempo with the tempo marking (Allegro, Presto, Largo, etc...) as listed on most standard metronomes. This is a tool that is a must for musicians, from professionals to the beginner.
